POLICIES
We respectfully ask that you please adhere to the following policies so that we can provide the best experience for you and our other clients.
These policies are subject to change from time to time.
BOOTCAMP RESERVATIONS
Please register for class in advance.
This allows coaches to prepare for the number of people attending.
In the event that no one is registered for a class, we can relieve the coach of their duty for that session.
If no one is registered 90 minutes prior to class, class may be canceled.
If a specific class does not appear in the app it has been canceled.
Note that there is a $10 “no show” charge for reserving a bootcamp class and not attending, unless you cancel 30 at least minutes before class.
PAUSING BOOTCAMP CLASS MEMBERSHIP
We allow pauses for medical reasons only.
Maximum pause is 30 days.
One pause per 12 month period allowed.
We are unable to allow pauses for any reason between Nov 15 and Jan 15.
We do not pause for any reason other than medical such as vacation, etc.
We require pause requests in writing 15 days in advance of your billing date.
Failure to notify SHF about the hold fifteen (15) days in advance of the Client’s next billing date will result in no hold and Client will be automatically charged on their billing date.
At the end of Client’s hold, payments will automatically begin again.
Memberships can not be canceled while paused.
Clients may return to SHF at any time for a $50 reactivation fee and the then current monthly rate.
PERSONAL TRAINING SESSIONS
Personal Training memberships are “use them or lose them” in the 4 week window.
Sessions do not carry over to the following month.
Failure to cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours in advance will result in that session counting as “used” and not be credited back to the client.
Personal Training memberships can be paused for up to 2 weeks for medical reasons or travel.
After two weeks we can not guarantee your sessions days/time slot.
Extended pauses may result in the loss of your scheduled time slot.
Personal training clients may restart at any time at the then current personal training rates.
Remote Training via Trainerize is available to all personal training clients while they travel at no extra charge.
MEMBERSHIP CANCELLATION
Bootcamp class memberships can be canceled with 30 days written notice.
Personal training memberships can be canceled with 15 days written notice.
Only active memberships can be canceled. We do not cancel paused memberships.
BRING A REFILLABLE WATER BOTTLE
We are an eco-friendly facility and to reduce waste we do not provide cups.
We do provide a water cooler but ask that you bring a refillable water bottle.
REPLACE EQUIPMENT
Please return equipment to the appropriate rack/storage when you’re done (unless instructed by coach/trainer to leave it in place.)
CLEAN EQUIPMENT
Please bring a workout towel to wipe down equipment after use (disposable towels provided)
Please disinfect equipment after use if necessary.
Disinfectant spray and paper towels are available next to workout floor (in cubbies).
Please spray and wipe down your mat after your workout.
STREET SHOES/GYM SHOES
Please do not wear cleats or any hard soled shoes in the gym.
We humbly request that you change from street shoes into workout shoes before stepping onto the mats. Black mats are extremely difficult to keep clean so having a dedicated pair of workout shoes will go a long way in supporting our efforts to provide you with a clean workout facility.
RESTROOMS
Please keep restrooms clean for other clients.
Do not put anything except toilet paper in the toilets.
Tissues, paper towels, and hygiene products should go in the trash can.
Alert a coach/trainer or staff member if the bathroom is out of soap, TP, paper towels, or in need of attention.
RESPECT
Please be supportive and respectful of all members, coaches, trainers, and staff.
Please refrain from discussing politics, religion, or any “hot button” topics in SHF.
Our goal is to foster a positive, supportive environment where everyone feels welcome, respected, supported, and comfortable.
CHILDREN
SHF does not provide childcare however children are allowed in the waiting area while members are in class..
Members are responsible for supervising their children when they’re in the facility.
Children are not allowed in the workout area (the black mats) at any time.
It’s important that children do not disrupt the experience for other members, so if your child is in need of attention/supervision, please take a break from your workout to attend to them.
